FOUNTAIN OF CONFLICT

2000 ladles, each with a soldier inside. The fountain is designed to fill with rainwater. 1. The rain forms a pattern while falling 2. The soldiers "drown" in the symbol of life, and emerge again with the sun completing a cycle of existence and death 3. The fountain is also a wall that alters the access to the museum and casts it's shadow. This is a piece about war profits, plastic industry, wildfires, and water. It is also my very first museum exhibition, and my very first site specific solo project.
