"Language is a virus from outer space..."
-William S. Borroughs.
I’ve always been interested in the power of language. It seems to last longer than material things and humanity has carried meanings and concepts through centuries and even thousands of years. However we choose to define things in words, that is what they become in our minds. They seem to endure and utter judgments and definitions long after they were said and often are the only thing that’s left about a moment.
In the years this series was made I lived in a very tiny flat and therefore created mostly very tiny things.
Over time I have returned to words in the form of libraries of all kinds, and have sought to feature the capacity of the human mind to be immersed in them, transported by them, transformed, and even become them in different circumstances.
